October 24, 2011 – Cebuana Lhuillier has a million reasons to celebrate in October. After rapidly surpassing one million members from its inception in 2010, the 24k Rewards Program proved to be another milestone for Cebuana Lhuillier. At the Isang Milyong Pasasalamat event in Makati Shangri-la Hotel, Cebuana Lhuillier’s brand ambassadress Sarah Geronimo, and PJ Lhuillier Inc. executives, led by Chairman Ambassador Philippe Jones Lhuillier and President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier, celebrated the success of the program with members of the media, valued business partners, and clients.
To mark this significant achievement, Cebuana Lhuillier recognized the one millionth 24k Rewards Program member, Ms. Jocelyn Pagkatotohan. She was also awarded P24,000 in cash. A resident of Tagaytay City, Jocelyn is a mother of two children. She has been working as a caddie in Tagaytay highlands for almost a decade and has earned for herself a reputable status amongst her peers and her clients.
Valued business partners who contributed to the success of the 24k Rewards Program were also recognized with a plaque of appreciation. Cebuana Lhuillier President Jean Henri Lhuillier presented the new features of the 24k Cebuana Card during the event. 24k cardholders will get more advantages on top of the existing benefits from their card such as auto-text alerts or notifications on promos and transactions, transactional queries via SMS, invites to exclusive client events, and monitoring of transactions on the internet through the 24k Online portal (www.24konline.com.ph). Reward points may also be used to pay for e-load and bills or be converted to coupons that can be used to purchase services and products from partner establishments.
Lhuillier also launched the Cebuana Myphone, another first in the pawnshop and money remittance industry. Using the Cebuana Myphone, 24k cardholders can conveniently check the status of their loans or remittances, and reward points earned. They can also get in touch easily with Cebuana Cares personnel.
