Cebuana Lhuillier, one of the country’s leading microfinancial companies, has forged a partnership with Bayad Center to further boost its domestic remittance service in the country.
The partnership officially makes Bayad Center as one of Cebuana Lhuillier’s Pera Padala Authorized Agents, which adds 250 transaction outlets more to the company’s already existing over 1,800 branches nationwide.
“As one of the most trusted companies in the financial industry, it is really an honor to have Bayad Center as an addition to our list of remittance agents. This partnership will open new doors of opportunities for both of our businesses and will definitely provide our clients an added fast, easy, and safe option for their domestic remittance needs,” Cebuana Lhuillier President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier said during the partnership signing on September 19, 2016 at Makati City.
Known in the Philippines as a bills payment service provider, Bayad Center can now accommodate sending and receiving money remittance to and from any Cebuana Lhuillier branch in any part of the country.
With the addition of Bayad Center, Cebuana Lhuillier’s roster of domestic remittance partners increases to 31. These partners form a network of 2,561 branches located nationwide.
Also present at the event were Cebuana Lhuillier Chairman and Philippine Ambassador to Portugal Philippe Jones Lhuillier, Cebuana Lhuillier General Manager Hamilton Angluben, Bayad Center President and CEO Manuel Tuason, and Bayad Center Senior Vice President and COO Francispito Quevedo.
