Guided by the company’s commitment to social responsibility, Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc. (CLFI) was established on December 28, 2000, through the directive of Jean Henri D. Lhuillier, President and CEO of the PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies.
As a non-profit organization and the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of the PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies, CLFI has remained steadfast in its mission to break financial barriers and create meaningful opportunities for every Filipino. Through comprehensive financial literacy programs and inclusive financial initiatives, CLFI continues to build pathways toward democratized financial access—upholding the belief that prosperity should be a right for all, not a privilege for a few.
Anchored to its vision, CLFI is grounded by its core pillars:
Financial Inclusion
CLFI believes that financial wellness is key to uplifting lives and breaking barriers. Through this advocacy pillar, we aspire to help individuals build secure futures, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.

Inclusive Education
CLFI sees education as a potent tool in uplifting the lives of the Filipinos. The Foundation sees it as a great equalizer by providing opportunities to the underprivileged and the vulnerable sectors so they can have a better life. CLFI programs are designed to provide as many Filipinos access to quality education.

CLFI works closely with community members, local leaders, and partners to ensure that every initiative responds to real needs and local priorities. By working hand in hand with the community, CLFI helps create solutions that are practical, inclusive, and sustainable.
