Cebuana Lhuillier Earns Top Gold and Silver Wins at the Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards

Cebuana Lhuillier earned multiple Gold and Silver honors at the 13th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards, highlighting the company’s purpose-led innovations in financial inclusion, literacy, and consumer engagement under the leadership of President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier.

Widely regarded as one of the region’s premier business awards programs, the Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards recognize excellence across 29 Asia-Pacific markets. Cebuana Lhuillier’s wins this year spanned consumer products and services, communications, social impact, and MSME empowerment—reflecting a holistic strategy that aligns financial solutions with the real needs of Filipinos.

Under Jean Henri Lhuillier’s leadership, Cebuana Lhuillier secured three Gold Stevie® Awards, recognizing innovations that advance inclusive and purpose-driven finance. The company earned Gold for Innovation in Consumer Products & Services for redefining financial inclusion through an integrated financial ecosystem that connects Filipinos to accessible and appropriate solutions across different life stages. Money Guro received Gold for Innovation in the Use of Social Media, cited for redefining financial literacy by transforming digital platforms into credible, engaging tools that help everyday Filipinos build practical money skills. Emirosco Michael “Mike” Sena, First Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, was awarded Gold as Most Innovative Communications Professional of the Year, honoring his role in translating Cebuana Lhuillier’s purpose-led strategy into communications and programs that build trust, participation, and long-term relevance.

Following these Gold wins, Jean Henri Lhuillier received two major individual Silver Stevie® Awards, underscoring the leadership behind the company’s strong performance. He was recognized as Most Innovative Social Impact Leader of the Year for driving innovative solutions to social and community challenges, and as Most Innovative Finance Executive of the Year for redefining finance through a life-stage financial ecosystem designed to evolve alongside customers’ needs.

Cebuana Lhuillier’s momentum continued with additional Silver Stevie® Awards, reflecting the breadth of initiatives guided by Lhuillier’s vision. Pasasalamat earned Silver for Innovation in Consumer Events, recognized for redefining financial services through compassionate, human-centered consumer engagements. Cebuana Lhuillier Gold Bar received Silver for Innovative Achievement in Product Innovation for democratizing gold investment through inclusive product design. Iponventure was awarded Silver for Innovation in Purpose-Driven Marketing for turning saving into a national movement that encourages positive financial behavior, while KaNegosyo Center earned Silver for Innovation in Business-to-Business Services for empowering MSMEs at scale through strengthened business support and access to capital.

“These recognitions affirm our belief that innovation must always be grounded in real human needs,” said Lhuillier. “Our focus remains on building financial solutions that are accessible, relevant, and responsive to the everyday realities of Filipinos.”

For Mike Sena, the awards highlight how purpose-led leadership shapes effective communication. “When programs are built around people’s real needs, communication becomes more than messaging—it becomes a pathway to participation, confidence, and long-term impact,” he shared.

Cebuana Lhuillier’s strong performance at the Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards reflects how its leadership-driven strategy, integrated financial ecosystem, and advocacy-led initiatives continue to set benchmarks for innovation across the region—bringing financial inclusion closer to more Filipinos.
