Cebuana Lhuillier Bank celebrates World Savings Day with ‘Ipon Moves’ campaign
Cebuana Lhuillier Bank (CLB) is marking World Savings Day 2025 with its “Ipon Moves this IPON MOnth” campaign, encouraging Filipinos to build a daily saving habit.
The initiative highlights how consistent saving—no matter how small—can lead to financial stability and help turn dreams into reality through Cebuana Lhuillier Micro Savings, a service regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas with deposits insured by PDIC up to ₱1 million per depositor.Philippine economic forecast
“Our goal has always been to make financial services accessible to every Filipino, especially those who have limited access to traditional banking,” said Jean Henri Lhuillier, President and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier. “Through Micro Savings and initiatives like Ipon Moves, we aim to nurture a culture of saving that empowers families to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.”
As part of the campaign, CLB set up “Wish IPON a Dream” walls at branches nationwide where clients shared their savings goals. The bank surprised four inspiring savers by granting their wishes: Rossini Abriola received a laptop for her son’s education, Arnel Peralta got grocery packages for his sari-sari store, Rizchel Canillo received an e-bike battery, and Maria Robilyn Sabanto was given a mountain bike for her father.
