Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Solutions (CLIS) showcased its achievements to the Asian Insurance Commissioners who were delegates to the 1st Mutual Exchange Forum on Inclusive Insurance (MEFIN) last July 11-13 at the New World Manila Bay Hotel. CLIS General Manager Jonathan Batangan was tapped as one of the resource speakers and delivered a presentation on the “Proportionality and Regulation in Microinsurance Delivery Channels” in the forum attended by the Insurance Regulators.
The MEFIN delegates also conducted a branch visit last July 14 at CLh Jupiter, Makati City. Head of Pawnshop Operations Miko Jimenez, Integrated Marketing and Communications Group Head Michael Sena, Chief Information Officer Ergie Ong, and CLIS Vice President Leo Escaño welcomed the commissioners from Nepal, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Vietnam together with Insurance Commission Microinsurance Head Shayne Bulos and GIZ Executive Director Antonis Malagardis.
