More pawners are now switching to Cebuana Lhuillier, thanks to the nationwide Lipat Sangla campaign. For the past few weeks, teams from different areas took to the streets nationwide to spread the word on Cebuana Lhuillier’s higher appraisal rates and other perks, including grocery items. The Lipat Sangla program was developed to increase market share in the pawning industry.

Last July 1, the Makati Police launched its “Oplan: Photo Sita,” an anti-crime campaign against riding-in-tandem criminals. All motorcycles passing the Makati area will be inspected at designated checkpoints, with details and photos of the motorcycles registered in the database of the Makati PNP-Anti Carnapping unit.

In support of the said campaign, PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies (PJLGC) donated a computer set to be used as a database and the initial set of control stickers for the registered motorcycles.

IDs Accepted

As required by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), clients who engage in a financial transaction with covered institutions for the first time shall be required to present the original and submit a clear copy of at least ONE (1) valid photo-bearing identification document issued by an official authority. For our clients’ convenience, Cebuana no longer requires submission of the photocopied ID. IDs are captured using a webcam in all branches. Clients are also required to submit an updated photo and other relevant information whenever the need for it arises.
