Last July 1, the Makati Police launched its “Oplan: Photo Sita,” an anti-crime campaign against riding-in-tandem criminals. All motorcycles passing the Makati area will be inspected at designated checkpoints, with details and photos of the motorcycles registered in the database of the Makati PNP-Anti Carnapping unit.
In support of the said campaign, PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies (PJLGC) donated a computer set to be used as a database and the initial set of control stickers for the registered motorcycles.
Head of Pawnshop Operations Miko Jimenez was recently invited as Guest of Honor during the Makati Police’s flag raising ceremony.
