IF you want to let the world know about a friend, a mentor, or a family member who you feel is the happiest person in the Philippines, then there’s still time to tell the world his or her story.
The nationwide Search for the Happiest Pinoy has been extended until July 31. A flagship campaign of Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance solutions, it aims to find and recognize the country’s most optimistic and passionate Filipinos who kept a good-natured demeanor while overcoming life’s challenges.
To join, submit a nomination form on any Filipino resident aged 18 and above, who has positive impact on people’s lives. The entry should depict the nominee’s life story and exemplary traits and show how the nominee has demonstrated resilience and inner strength in times of crisis.
Ten finalists will be chosen, but only one will be named the Happeist Pinoy 2012 winner and be awarded P250,000 prize tax-free. The Happiest Pinoy 2012 awards will be held in September 2012.
Judges for Happiest Pinoy 2012 include Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro, 2009 CNN Hero of the Year Efren Peñaflorida, Happiest Pinoy 2012 winner Winston Maxino, Brahma Kumaris Foundation-Philippines president Leticia Ramos-Shahani, Ramon Magsaysay Foundation president and CEO Ma. Carmencita Abella, UA&P senior VP Dr. Bernandino Villegas and PJ Lhuillier Inc. chief administrative officer Jose Miguel Jimenez.
