Cebuana Lhuillier's nationwide campaign “The 2012 Search for the Happiest Pinoy” bagged the Bronze trophy for Insights and Strategic Thinking category at the UA&P Tambuli Awards: 7th Asia-Pacific IMC Effectiveness and Values Awards Night held at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium, University of Asia & the Pacific on May 30.
A one-of-a-kind campaign, the Search for the Happiest Pinoy aims to rekindle values of optimism, resilience, and hope in every Filipino amidst different challenges and adversities in life. Since it started in 2010, it has become the country’s source of inspiration through the different stories of happiness and success of Filipinos all over the country.
The Bronze Tambuli Award is the 7th award received so far since the Search was launched in 2010. For 2013, it counts as the third with the Bronze PANATA Award and Anvil Award of Excellence received early this year.
Present during the awarding ceremony were Cebuana Lhuillier Microinsurance General Manager Jonathan Batangan and PJ Lhuillier, Inc. Integrated Marketing and Communications Group Head Michael Sena.
Honoring the best advertising campaigns, UA&P Tambuli Awards recognizes "marketing communicators who create and deliver messages focused on results that build long-lasting value for their organization, markets and stakeholders and for the good of society.”
This year’s panel of judges was composed of marketing luminaries both from ad agencies and clients and was headed by the Regional President for Lowe+Partners, Asia Pacific President Rupen Desal.
