Service fees for donations made to GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Operation Bayanihan: Labanan Ang COVID-19 campaign to aid medical frontliners is now waived.
Cebuana Lhuillier decided to forego its remittance fees for donors who would like to contribute to GMA’s donation drive to purchase face masks, rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizers, and gloves which will be provided to frontliners at public hospitals as well as personnel stationed at checkpoints for the entire duration of the enhanced community quarantine.
“Cebuana Lhuillier’s commitment to serve Filipinos will always be in place, and right now our noble men and women who are bravely tackling this pandemic head-on, need our support. I hope we are able to send a clear message that now, more than ever, we must work together as a nation to combat COVID-19.” said Cebuana Lhuillier president and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier.
GMA’s Kapuso Foundation launched its Operation Bayanihan: Labanan ang COVID-19 campaign to aid frontliners who are in need of protective personal equipment given the swiftly dwindling supplies in hospital as COVID-19 cases are on a steady rise in the country and distribute grocery family packs for vulnerable families in Metro Manila whose means of income have been halted due to the enhanced community quarantine.
Cebuana Lhuillier implores everyone to work together to ease the plight of the many Filipino individuals, families, and communities affected by the threat of COVID-19 as well as the effect of the enhanced community quarantine.
